This goal will influence the method someone learn and the actions they will take to respond to what they had learned. The entrepreneur will first set the goal and then follow by planning the strategic to achieve those goals. In the process of moving towards the goals that they target, the entrepreneur needs to monitor the progress and make a correction if the progress is not what the entrepreneur wants. Entrepreneurs who are outcome oriented prefer to prove their competency and gain favourable judgement besides avoiding negative judgements of their competence was mentioned by Dweck.
